We first met back in high school around 2013-14. After 1-2 years of knowing each other and being involved in tons of high school activities together the chemistry was brewing but nothing came of it (yet). We both dated other people and grew apart during the college years of 2016-2018. Fast forward to late fall of 2018, Gwen caught wind of Manny being freshly single and slid in the DMs (literally). We met up again and picked up the chemistry right where we left it back in 2016, dated for a few months and Manny made it official on March 2nd, 2019. In 2021, Gwen decided to go to law school in San Diego. Manny was still living in Long Beach working remotely after graduating and so they saw the opportunity to move in together and see if they can do 2 things at once. The first was tolerate living with each other and the second was deal with mutual stress of Gwen in law school. Somehow, they did both and it wasn't easy but nothing good in life comes easy. 2024 was a monumental year for both Gwen & Manny. Gwen graduated law school, took the bar exam, passed the bar exam, and became an attorney. Manny quit his full time job and became an entrepreneur by launching his own ad agency. The support we had for each other in these steps in 2024 was the perfect storm for what Manny was planning in October of 2024. He proposed at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park and within a few months wedding planning commenced. Now we're on the mission to become Gwen Reyes & Manny Reyes and want you all to join us in making this happen on September 2nd, 2025. The ceremony will be emotional, the bar will be open, the DJ will be lively, and the dessert bar will be the talk of the night. We hope you will join us.
